Tyrell Ingram is  currently a student journalist at  CUNY Brooklyn College.

He is also currently working as an intern for Tunnel Vision Sports as a sports writer.  During his time with Tunnel Vision Sports, he has interviewed college athletes and coaches during press conferences.

Ingram has also contributed for two Brooklyn College publications: the Brooklyn News Service and the Brooklyn College Vanguard during his senior year of Brooklyn College.

He has experience with using an audio software called Pro Tools First and is well versed in using Microsoft Word and Google Excel.

Derelict Vehicles Are Emerging Within Canarsie

BROOKLYN- Canarsie has experienced an onslaught of derelict vehicles being parked within the neighborhood streets.

On May 6, the Department of Sanitation announced that their Derelict Vehicle Unit worked with the 69th Precinct to remove 26 derelict vehicles and issued 23 summons within Canarsie.

Vehicles that have been damaged, demolished or partially dismantled, or dumped and are inoperable are referred to as derelict vehicles.

Tanger Hillel Set To Host Spring Blood Drive – The Brooklyn College Vanguard

Brooklyn College’s Tanger Hillel has helped save over 200 lives through each of its blood drives and will try to save even more on Thursday, Mar. 3.

Hillel will soon host its Annual March for Life Blood Drive in partnership with New York Blood Center, an independent, nonprofit blood center that will assist with the initiative.

“For every blood drive, the NYBC provides necessary equipment and highly trained staff to collect the blood donations,” said Rivkah Hornbacher, a Hillel student leader.

BROOKLYN, NY- On March 4, Brooklyn Assemblywoman Jaime Williams announced that there will be a South Brooklyn Waterfront Task Force to combat trash within the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parkway area.

A coalition of LGBT+, immigrant justice, and reproductive justice groups gathered at City Hall Park to protest on Feb. 24, Mayor Eric Adams’ decision to appoint three pastors who were accused of being “anti-gay” to top positions within the administration.

Though newly appointed Sanitation Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch said that is about to change.
